Fairwell to the Waltons
Our good friends, the Waltons, who were here on a foreign officer exchange, returned to the UK today. Al & Becca brought a lot of fun to the C3 department and we'll miss them tons!

Football game, part II
Trent's 1st Flag Football Game
Today's game was a riot - complete with kids running the wrong way, grabbing their teammates' flags and Trent's favorite - grabbing the opponent's flag after the whistle blew - what the heck, he thought he was doing so good! He had a GREAT time too and told us his favorite part about the game was ALL of it - lol!

They crack me up with their mouth guards. One kid told his parents, referring to his mouthpiece, "this thing is wearing me out!"

First Flag Football Practice!
It's all so very exciting. Rob took Trent shopping for a mouth guard last weekend - big boy stuff ;). His first practice was today and his first game is this Saturday - it's so fun!
Trent's "Leader Day" at school
The kids in Trent's class take turns being the leader and bringing in the snack for the day. Monday was Trent's turn to be the leader. We took in Halloween sugar cookies that Trent helped make along with grapes and apple juice. And he wore his Halloween shirt too! Here he is in the playground at the start of school.
Dinner out....

Fall Festivities
Here are some pictures of the boys from the past few days. On Thursday, I took Drew to a Toddler outing arranged by Rob's squadron. Drew was so thrilled that they had a bounce house! And today there was a Fall Carnival on base for all the housing residents. There was this big blow up caterpillar thing that Trent and the other kids had a blast climbing through - Drew had his fun watching from the outside.

Yuma Territorial Prison
What is there to do in Yuma, AZ? Visit the Yuma Territorial Prison State Park, that's what....and that's IT! So, yesterday we went to check it out and the boys had a lot of fun. There's an excellent museum there with stories about many of the prisoners - very interesting! The boys enjoyed getting their mug shots taken and looking in the cells. For $4 a person (14 and under are free), I highly recommend it. Good thing, since there are no other tourist attractions in Yuma that I'm aware of.
Afterwards, we went to Home Depot to do their kid's building workshop. There was a firetruck there that the kids got to go into and they built wooden fire trucks - they had a blast with that too! So, all in all, an excellent morning out.

Evening out...
Uncle Frank and I took the boys to the castle park in Yuma after dinner the other night. Then we went to Coldstone and had ice cream - YUMMY!!!
