California Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. We got there last Tuesday morning and stayed until Monday night. We had Christmas with Lama (grandma), Suey, and Uncle Frank and then headed to Grandma & Grandpa Billings house for some Christmas hellos, followed up by Rob's mom, Ralph and Samantha at Lama's house for Christmas dinner. The boys got more toys than needed, but then again, isn't that what Christmas is all about?

Enjoy the photos!

Family Photos

It's been a good 15 years since we had professional family photos taken. While we weren't able to get everyone together for the pictures, we did our best.

Uncle Frank, Aunt Suey, Grandma (Lama), cousin Christine,
Rob, Katie
Drew & Trent
Here's the one that is prodominatly displayed at my grandmother's house. Maybe it's closer to 20 years old. Since we couldn't get everyone together this year, this picture will stay up on the wall - lol!!!

Uncle Chris, Aunt Pat, Uncle Frank, Aunt Suey, my Dad, me, Papa, Grandma (Lama), cousin Sara and Cousins Will & Christine

Just the girls.

And we lucked out and got a good photo of our little Walker clan.

The Walker Christmas Party

At least once per duty station, we host a Christmas party with the people Rob works with. And for tradition, we include a White Elephant gift exchange. The rule is that the gift must come from your home and not be newly purchased for the exchange. One man's junk is another man's treasure, right? Past gifts include a 13" black & white TV from the Keans and a toilet (not new) from the Thompsons - you get the idea, right? Click on the picture below to see the album of photos from our fun night!

Yuma Electric Light Parade

Friday night, Christina and I took the boys downtowns for the annual electric light parade. We met up with Brady and her girls. The kids all had a great time!

Trent lost another tooth

Trent lost his second tooth on Wednesday. We were sitting down eating lunch and while we were talking, I noticed that the second bottom tooth was gone. He had no idea. Pretty sure he swallowed that one too - how crazy is that to swallow your first two loose teeth? So, we put another note under his pillow for the toothfairy. He has another loose tooth on the top, but it's much bigger so I'm really hoping that he doesn't swallow that one!

Free Aaron Tippon Concert

Not wanting to miss out on free BBQ and a free concert, our family attended the Aaron Tippon concert held on base Monday night. Best concert ever?...No. But the boys had a good time and we were together as a family.

Trent looses his 1st tooth!!!!!

Today, December 6th, 2008, Trent lost his first tooth! He was brushing his teeth before bed when he realized it was gone, but we couldn't find the tooth anywhere. It was such a small tooth, that he may have swallowed it. So, he sleeps with a note under his pillow tonight. He has two other loose teeth, so we have lots to look forward to.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We had Thanksgiving at our house with 3 other couples/familes and then had 4 more couples over for dessert!

Craziness at the kid table

Turkey's done! The kids were taking turns wearing the turkey hat and climbing through the oven - don't you just love the stuff they come up with?!
