Yesterday we headed out to the Colorado River for the second time. We are able to rent an aluminum boat from MCCS for $20 and it comes with gas, so not a bad deal. The first time we did this, we went fishing and discovered these great sand bars where you can dock your boat and play and swim. So, this time, we went with our friends the Cobles and the kids had a blast. It truly felt like a mini-vacation - like weekends are supposed to be.
